XIII. The Mystic

Transmission, engage.

The Mystic receives the signal via its closed circuit of raw, glassy natural aquamarine shards.  That signal just so happens to be the vast, glittering, primordial, utterly ineffable, endlessly dimensional intelligence of the ocean. 

Aquamarine's properties are nearly impossible to describe, as it serves as more of a threshold than it does a typical crystal assistant.  It carries light through the murky depths, navigating a surreal universe where everything is alive, and most of that everything is unseen.

This necklace's lifeblood is ocean, ocean, ocean.  Tethering the central point is a single murex shell, a small relic of the strange architecture yielded from the depths.  Its thorns are blunted but present, a study in elegant fortitude. 

A single, steadying, softly shaped serpentine is the pinky toe still on land, keeping the wearer tethered throughout the exploration.
