ADAPTOR (S)WITCH WRAP

An adaptive wrap necklace for holding paradoxes and polarities.  

Infinitely wearable and intentionally interactive, this piece has no single correct configuration. It can be coiled three times around the neck as a layered collar, looped and draped as a lariat, or tied at the back with beads left to move freely. How it is worn is part of the work. It responds to what you need and how you feel in the moment.

Adaptor (S)witch is a study in balance within polarity. It holds contradiction without collapse. Black and white thinking often masquerades as clarity, but it is usually a sign of external pressure rather than inner alignment. This piece exists to switch that pattern and return authority to the internal compass.

At the center sits a vintage cloisonné yin yang, serving as central orientation; a symbol of integration rather than opposition. A dynamic whole that contains tension without fracture.

The two sides of the wrap offer balance without symmetry. Natural pink opal supports emotional softening and grief work. It soothes without numbing. Apatite offers clarity of signal and supports expression without force. Iolite highlights internal navigation and decision making. Serpentine provides grounding and quiet protection, allowing adaptability without burnout.

A single black and white whelk shell carries ocean memory, spiral logic, rhythm, and natural timing. Vintage champagne crystals refract light and shrug off unnecessary heaviness. A single morganite sphere closes the piece gently, supporting self honesty without overwhelm.

Opposites are not enemies. They are collaborators. Night precedes dawn. Integration allows movement forward without erasure.  You can hold them both.
