XII. The Alchemist

A necklace that directly embodies the nexus of Drop 1.0: transmutation.

A circling of blue freshwater pearls is interrupted by an intrusion of serpentine shards, signaling shadow work and a shedding of old ideas and belief systems.  As the serpentine segment enters the nacred shroud of abalone shell, it is stopped short by a single orb of night-black onyx.

Onyx is a powerful stone of transmutation, offering protection as it converts unhelpful energies into helpful.  Energy is energy, so a person might as well make it work for them.  And as the flow emerges out of the abalone, so it becomes pearl once again.

This necklace reads a bit like the ouroboro eating its own tail, but with an oceanic aspect of flow.  

The Alchemist can be worn with the "inner workings" facing outside or facing inside.  Depends on if you want to declare it or keep it to yourself.

We all encounter stuff that feels icky or difficult.  This piece serves as both reminder and implement when you're ready to use it for fuel.
