Sunbleached Seafoam Shapeshifter (say it three times fast?)

THE RIG began as a trip to the local marine store.  I fell in love with this gorgeous, substantial nylon rope and was warned that the color wouldn't be perfectly preserved if it were left out in the sun.  Naturally, I replied, "sold".

This piece shows off that organic seafoamy turquoise mottling, both in its texture and in the tassels that I gleefully allowed to unravel.  It's been hand beaded with a little clustered growth colony of yummy, blobby, high-nacre vintage grey pearls, anchored by a length of rusty microcord.  An industrial reimagined steel washer acts as the adjusting mechanism.

Wear it knotted around the waist, across the body as a sling, or around the neck as a drop lariat.  

Industrial hardware, very good pearls, and rope that has already lived a little.

Measurements:  44" total length.  Accommodates waists up to 36".  2x2" washer ring.
