X. The Arbiter

The Arbiter is a sneaky little thing.  Laid flat, one would think "oh, that's a very polite 2010's statement necklace".  On the body, this trickster transforms itself into the unexpected:  a sculptural fringe of revelation draped over the hand.

Surrounding the wrist, dyed vintage freshwater pearls offer an aqueous reminder of what's been lived through and settled, evidence of the value we already hold withinin ourselves (in this house, pearls = boundaries).

The main act here? Ten needly, refractive, moody little smoky quartz points.

Quartz in general is The Revelator, a bolt of light and clarity.  While its subspecies smoky quartz certainly carries that charge, its mission specifically is to burn off what doesn't serve, to welcome in what does, and to make the difference between the two crystal (ha) clear.  While its grounding properties help with anchoring in reality, it's not subtle about what it uncovers. 

Ultimately, this piece is full of one thing: discernment.  Honoring it, underscoring it, and holding fast to what it has to say.

Wearing it on the left hand offers aid in discernment toward what you receive or welcome in, and wearing it on the right offers aid in discernment in what you release, let go of, or offer to the world.  Wear it on your dominant hand for discernment in what you do.

You already have this in you.  Smoky quartz just makes it so that it's highlighted in yellow and a lot harder to bypass.
