V. The Tether

The Tether is a hand-rendered silk cord convertible necklace with one thing to say:  hold on to yourself.

This black silk cord obscures a constellation of black glass cubes, flitting in and out of the knotting.  The center of the necklace features a very icicly shard of clear quartz with a entrancing, mystical little refractions of electric clarity.

Holding fast at the center is a dreamy, lavender-leaning amethyst disc that can be removed or shifted around.  This specimen exhibits some "spirit amethyst" coloration, showing off some oxidation (iron inclusions) and lighter overall tones.

This is a necklace for holding fast to one's own center, a highly helpful practice regardless of what kind of expansion may or may not be occurring.

A dollop of pyrite acts as the securing factor, which pops into the top loop.

Can be also be worn as a choker, wrap bracelet, or anklet (the knotting gives it a little stretch!).
