SPIDER CAKE ANKLET

An uncommon anklet built to adapt.

Louise knew exactly what she was doing with those sculptures.  Archetypally speaking, spiders are guardians of the divine feminine collective wisdom.  Patient. Resilient. Potent far beyond their size. This one acts as protector and reminder that every strand you generate feeds the larger web.

The spider itself is lampworked glass, resting in a bed of high-nacre vintage grey pearls. Rich. Blobby. Softly iridescent, almost oil-slick in their glow. In the Clown Chakra universe, pearls mean this: I had to defend myself once. I’m beautiful because of it. That’s enough of the parasites now, thank you very much.

Fire agate brings forward motion and ignition. Tuxedo agate anchors and protects. A pair of dalmatian jasper rounds shield the inner child so play stays accessible and unselfconscious. A single gold-plated sterling bead conducts and steadies the composition. Multicolored glass spacers keep the tone light, and an adjustable chain allows the anklet to be worn bare, over socks, or with boots.

Baby, weave the web and keep your cool. That big chance is on its way.
