Southern Drawl Firewall honors the formidable beauty forged under pressure. The attempted siege did not ruin you. It did not destroy you. It forced evolution. It refined discernment. It taught you how to live more beautifully.  

This collar necklace is composed of naturally occurring, high-nacre vintage freshwater pearls, each one transmitting the quiet authority of the ocean. Pearls are the visible payoff of grace under pressure. Luminous, restrained, and unapologetically strong.  Beauty with a backbone.

Pearls are, quite literally, the result of an oyster’s defense system. When irritation arrives, the oyster responds with alchemy. Layer by layer, it protects its soft interior and produces something enduring and precious. For generations, polite society has adorned itself with this metaphor and pretended it was about refinement alone. What a world.

At the center, the pearls are deliberately interrupted by natural black tourmaline. This is the lock on the gate. Black tourmaline is the security system of stones. It transmutes what does not belong and reinforces the right to have limits. Cleansing, grounding, stabilizing, and quietly confidence-boosting, it clears space for authentic joy to exist.

This necklace is a wearable receipt. You lived it. You learned from it. Here you stand. Luminous. The tourmaline at the center makes a simple statement, "Never again.  Did I stutter?".

Named in honor of my southern matriarchal lineage, where we know how to shut down an attempt with honey on our tongues. To the parasites we say, "bless your heart. I am not the one."

While Southern Drawl Firewall is a design I intend to revisit, each piece is entirely unique. I do not believe in mass-produced talismans. The one photographed is the one you will receive.

Materials:  aqua glass rice beads, mixed vintage frewshwater pearls, naturally occurring black tourmaline, copper hardware.

Each piece is energetically cleansed and charged before shipping out to its home.
