III. The Ocean

The destination for every tributary.  The archetype of the collective unconscious.  The very birthplace of life itself.

An entire universe all its own, the vast power and unfathomable depths of the ocean humbles in such a fearsome manner that one cannot help but be reminded of their own insignificance in the larger design.  Personally, I find that reminder to be profoundly liberating.

This piece is composed of a pendant made of found, lightly hand sculpted parchment-white coral.  A single specimen of raw, unpolished labradorite hides a secret that offers itself in some, not all, conditions:  a spectral flare of blue.  Both objects are traditionally used by some practitioners as objects of clairvoyance, hinting to the depths that lie underneath that which is immediately perceivable.  There's more to it all than what meets the eye.

The Ocean is a multiwear piece and can be rendered in multiple ways, including long pendant necklace, wrapped choker, belt, and whatever else the depths of your psyche can manifest.
