HYPHAE ERA NECKLACE

A talisman pearl necklace for beginning again.

The softer counterpart to Southern Drawl Firewall, Hyphae Era is built around clarity after growth. A strand of luminous and softly iridescent vintage freshwater pearls supports a nearly transparent lampworked glass mushroom. Where Firewall holds the line, this piece reaches outward.  Gently.  Just in case something resonates.

Hyphae are the unseen filaments of fungi that form connective networks beneath the surface. Here, that idea becomes personal. Growth has already happened. Limits have been clarified, boundaries have been set. Now the feelers extend.

High-nacre pearls in shades of ivory, rose, and champagne are the stars of this necklace.  Carrying the quiet beauty that follows survival, these particular pearls are exceptional:  gooey, lush, quietly opalescent.

A glass evil eye offers a final layer of protection. while raw amethyst, carved jade, and a single cherry carnelian ground the piece in steadiness, warmth, and forward movement.

Carved flower shows behavior consistent with jadeite jade under magnification.

Details emerge slowly. A striped vintage lampworked bead holds the suggestion of a flower, punctuated by a single garnet at its center. Another lampworked bead, reminiscent of a lava lamp, keeps the energy fluid rather than fixed. A mother-of-pearl heart completes the intention. Now that I know who I am, let me find my people.
