This piece is for devotion to the signal, not the doctrine.  Doctrine comes in handy when it supports the signal, not the other way around.

In the spiritual journey, some of us arrive to the place where we come to understand that the great mystery, the divine, the universe, whatever-you-wanna-call-it is so much bigger than what we can comprehend, understand, or elucidate.  “Take what you like/need and leave the rest” has become a personal mantra in this regard.  There are components of doctrine that can work for us, and we are allowed to take those and leave behind the things that don’t.  If you didn’t know, well, now you know.  The kingdom of heaven is within you.

Am I a heretic?  Depends on who you ask.  Am I willing to be in service of allowing the divine to show up on the divine’s terms, not mine or anyone else’s?  Also, YES.  This isn’t about spiritual narcissism, it’s about honoring the thing inside of us that pings when something real comes across our desks.  Because whatever that is, that’s the thing.  

Ending in a large natural quartz pendulum built for amplification, this piece is meant to be utilized, not just worn.  It’s a tool of receiving.  Ghanaian recycled glass and vintage lampwork tell the story of the collective memory.

The showstopper, estate-equality stars of the show make up most of the piece:  very rare, vintage, natural, hand faceted garden quartz (lodolite/chlorite quartz).  It carries and amplifies the signal while preserving the memory of our past selves, our growth, and our expansion.  

 Matte round rhodochrosite alchemizes grief and difficulty so that the edges are softened, not erased.  Vintage baroque freshwater pearl is the evidence of the grit, the stunning and psychedelic result of a being that has protected itself against parasitic invasion.  One is black and one is a white “X”, explicitly honoring protection.  Vintage bugle beads honor the history, an evil eye offers protection without stiffness, and a millefiori flower dismisses any sanctimonious nonsense.
